It's been a long Winter and Spring is finally here! We bred six does last fall for 4-H projects, therefore we only had a few kids available this year. Fortunately for us, all but one of our wethers has been spoken for. We still have one small boy that would make a nice late fair project or pet. He has a real sweet disposition. We kept one buckling intact by request, and are very pleased with his growth rate. We have two very nice little doelings. One has been spoken for and the other one will be retained here at the farm at this time.
We have also least out several does to another farm last fall.
M & J Ranch and Sycamore Creek Farms still have some wethers and buck kids available. These kids were born from our stock: JTTF does and sired by AABG NORTH BOUND. Some of them are red or red and white and some are traditional. I will be adding photos and other pertinent information of these kids soon, so please check back in a few days for details. Also, you may find them on facebook using the above name.
We are getting our does and our buck AABG NORTH BOUND conditioned for spring breeding for a fall kid crop, and we are going to lease a red buck to add more color into our herd. We will have market wethers and breeding stock available later this year and early next year. We are very happy with our breeding program and think you will be too.
